Hardware – Client Work Station
- PC with Pentium III 700mhz processor or above (1.4 or greater preferred)
- 256MB of Memory (512MB preferred)
- SVGA (800 x 600) or higher monitor (1024 x 768 preferred setting as setting it lower affects visibility of system components including toolbars.
- 256 Color or higher video (16K colors preferred)
- Mouse or pointing device
- Workstation must have local administrative full control rights for the purpose of executing the setup program to install the software.
Software
- Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista SP1
- Office XP, Office 2003 or Office 2007
Hardware – SQL Server
- MS Windows 2003 or 2008 Server for File and Print sharing.
- A network shared folder is maintained for all EdRM Windows applications, office templates, custom user objects and scanned images. All users must have full control of this shared folder to add and delete files. An EdRM user group should be created with privileges to this area.
- Database Server running SQL Server 2005 or 2008. The SQL database can be maintained on the same file server or set up independently, but if separated must have communication privileges.
- All data stored for EdRM applications is stored in a single SQL server database. Typically the database size starts at 50MB and tends to grow to 200-300 MB for current and archived data depending on district size and record activity.
Web Server Software Requirements
- Microsoft IIS 5.0 Web Server or above
- All web applications are built as Active Server Pages (ASP or ASPX) using MS Visual Studio.Net with the .Net Framework 1.1. The web server must host aspSmartMail (aspsmartmail.dll). When sending mail the system uses aspSmartMail to interface with your SMTP mail server or have the standard Windows cdosys installed.
- Outbound SMTP mail server that must allow relay from the web server address.
- The web server must have permission to access the SQL Server on the network.
- Permissions from SQL Server to the EdRM Network shared folder must be defined to allow read/write access.
Other Client Requirements
- At least one (1) HR work station must have access to the edrmonline folder on the web server for the purpose of loading updated job descriptions to the online application system.
- All HR work stations must have access to the shared EdRM folder for the purpose of merge functions.
- Outbound SMTP mail to mail.hrmplus.com.
- FTP binary transfers passive mode both directions with ftp://hrmplus.serveftp.net, Port 21.
- Firewall open for communication with sql.hrmplus.com, Port 1433, initiated by the client, 2-way communication.
- Telephone or built in web-based contact reports must be used for all support issues.
- Data Maintenance including Version Updates and off-site backups must be functional and regularly used.
- The most current Version of EdRM.
All the above requirements are required in order to qualify for the minimum annual support rate. Any deviations from the minimum client requirements will result in additional support fees.
OPTIONAL Equipment Requirements
- Scanner, camera and card printer – for Image System if it is to be utilized.
