Our District has implemented HRMPlus software for management of everyday functions of the District’s Human Resources Operations and we are very pleased with this product. Our staff especially likes the ease of use with ‘point and click’ selection as well as the ease at which reports can be generated. The product is very user friendly with an intuitive logic in its design. Another very strong feature is the customer support; the response is timely, consistent, friendly and reliable. We have also benefited greatly from the on-site training which has not only given us the skills for using the software but helped us tremendously in reviewing our routine HR functions. We are looking forward to implementing the online application and professional development modules in the near future.

I just wanted to let you know how great our new Professional Development portal is! It is such an easy system to use, even for our brand new teachers. I really appreciate how simple it is to set up new classes. This is so much better than dealing with all the emails and phone calls required before. I also like having the ability to check registration status at anytime; and those who register for classes really like having the ability to go back and check the 'details' icon when they forget the information about the class they registered for. We went live with the EDRM online application process on April 14, 2006. We have just celebrated our "Now serving 1000" bench mark with having over 1000 online applicants take the time to apply to our district. We are so excited by this that we created t-shirts that say "Now serving 1000" and were actually honored at our Board of Directors meeting for our accomplishments.
I think the most exciting piece of this for me, is seeing that we have certificated and classified applicants from all over the country and outside of the country applying through this process. If we were not available this way, we would not have the opportunity to be so selective. We have had the pleasure of offering 45 new certificated staff positions this school year. On average each one of those positions that were offered had an applicant pool of over 70 applicants!!! That is incredible!
I could go on forever on this subject and get very excited to talk about all the great things that can be done through applicant reports, job logs, postings, personnel reports and the list goes on. I would love to give you any more information that you would like.
Keep in mind I am simply a receptionist that is passionate about recruiting the best and offering a great opportunity for our district to find the best!!! There is work involved, patience is a must, persistence too as well as a willingness to learn new information and run with it!

Edit The Enumclaw School District went "live" with the EdRM online application system the summer of 2004. The online application component has been an awesome addition to our EdRM package. Applicants are now doing most of the time consuming data entry and maintenance of their own applications. Not only has this been a huge time saver for our department, it provides us with accurate, up-to-date applicant information with multiple ways to manipulate it. We are very excited to go one step further and add the scanner option. This will allow us to have complete applications, including resumes, cover letters, and placement files online and available to administrators and hiring teams for viewing at the school sights via their internet access.
